The Success Story of the Lebang Community Owned Solar Electricity Project

In response to decades of inconsistent and costly electricity supply in the Lebang Fondom, LECUDO USA, in partnership with village associations, launched a transformative community-owned solar electrification project. This initiative aimed to provide sustainable, affordable, and independent electricity to households, palaces, churches, schools, and health centers across 16 villages. With over 130 solar poles installed and 28 homes fully powered, the project was executed within four months, well ahead of schedule, and achieved a 98% success rate.
